How to clean a TPE stroker or masturbation glove

TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is the usual material for soft male strokers and gloves. It’s stretchy and cheap to mold with texture. It is also porous compared with platinum silicone. Cleaning is not optional if you reuse it.

After every session

1. Rinse in warm water. 2. Wash with a drop of mild, unscented soap. No alcohol, no acetone, no “toy cleaner” that lists mystery solvents. 3. Rinse until it doesn’t feel slimy. 4. Pat with a lint-free cloth. Air dry fully — inside folds too. Don’t store wet. 5. Optional: a little cornstarch on TPE once it’s dry if it feels tacky. Not oil.

Lube rules

Water-based only on TPE. Silicone lube can swell or degrade it. Oil (including lotions and coconut oil) soaks in and is a bacteria party.

Storage

Dry, cool, out of sun, not touching other toys (TPE can react with some plastics). A clean bag is enough. You don’t need a fake-flashlight case.

When to throw it away

Tears, permanent odor after a proper wash, sticky breakdown, or discoloration that won’t rinse. TPE is reusable; it is not immortal.
